China National Petroleum to step up development of carbon reduction technology

Oil huge China Countrywide Petroleum Corp claimed the business would move up the progress of carbon seize, utilization and storage (CCUS) know-how to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the vitality sector as China goes via its minimal-carbon transition.

The corporation has been conducting 11 CCUS experiments by its 10 oilfields with an annual carbon dioxide injection capacity of 567,000 tons and an accumulative carbon dioxide storage of far more than 4.5 million tons.
