Women in Computer Science strives for community, professional growth

Dr. Mary Lauren Benton, assistant professor in the section of computer science and co-college adviser for Baylor’s Gals in Laptop or computer Science (WiCS), explained the corporation aims to develop community amid women, stimulate qualified growth and build mentoring relationships within the club and with the outside the house group.
“We have some casual mentoring interactions involving the older and youthful members of the team and in between the school mentors,” Benton stated. “I know that this year’s officer team has been seriously energetic and seeking to construct up the club.
